Trinity House Cafe Restaurant Review:

Rarely can folks come upon an ecumenical setting that offers everyone, whatever their faith or background, a comforting and welcoming place for a spot of tea, a leisurely leafing through books from a library, a chance to visit an icon maker upstairs, and a hearty and wholesome meal from a small café. Trinity House Cafe is an ideal destination not only for that leisurely moment or meal but for small meetings and mini concerts, too. Owned and operated by Ever Johnson, a founder of the John Paul II Fellowship, the café is situated on the grounds of an historic home that has been totally refurbished while retaining its traditional air; even the small garden out back is well tended and the genteel front porch has seating for people-watching or just relaxing. The menu kicks off with breakfast specials including sweets, yogurt, oatmeal, and an egg sandwich or plate of sausages. Later in the day, patrons can enjoy salads and sandwiches, most of which are tagged with a Catholic name, for example, the Guadalupe snacks and the Assisi salad. Beverages are solely teas, coffees and soy milks.
