| Truluck's began as an homage to stone crabs --- which come from its own fisheries in Florida --- so purists order them by the bucket, especially on all-you-can-eat nights. But don't stop there. We also suggest the crab cakes; steak and stone crab quesadillas; crab and artichoke bisque; and stone crab pasta, tossed with angel hair, black olives, green onions and Parmesan in a spicy butter sauce. Meat dishes are also first-rate, with a slow-roasted prime rib sharing equal billing with the charbroiled rib-eye, New York strip and tenderloin filet. Seafood entrées are anything but standard, with our favorites including the seared sesame-crusted tuna, grilled mahi mahi and salmon, stuffed snapper and lobster tails. Wash it all down with an Alzinger Grüner Veltliner, one of the many wines on the extensive list. |
