Trustworthy Brewing Co. & BBQ Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: At The Palazzo’s Grand Canal Shoppes, this brewery and barbecue restaurant is the second location of the original spot in Burbank, California, and the only brewery on the Vegas Strip. Décor features an elevated 60-seat bar with an old-school lighted movie sign marquee displaying the beers on tap, a wall-to-wall graffiti mural paying homage to the iconic Bill Murray, banquette seating and oversized booths, and large windows offering a peek at the brewing apparatus.

Likes: Despite being a venue specializing in making alcohol, Trustworthy offers a family-friendly environment, with no gaming, no smoking and entertainment options such as skeeball and shuffleboard.
Dislikes: The brewpub is a bit hard to locate in the vast expanses of the Grand Canal Shoppes, but taking the self parking elevator to the top exit, the Grand Canal 2nd level, places you just steps from the entrance.

Food & Drinks: A unique offering from the small plates menu is the fried pork rinds, made with ketchup, salt and vinegar. Other winning starters are the soft Bavarian-style pretzel accompanied with spicy brown mustard and Gruyère spread and Brussels sprouts tossed in a bacon gremolata. The meat of the menu is just that: options of brisket, chicken, pulled pork, ribs and sausage that are prepared in a pellet-fired smoker. Non-meat eaters can choose from beer-battered fish & chips, seared wild Atlantic salmon and watermelon salad with red and yellow watermelon. House-made dessert choices are banana pudding with brûléed marshmallow, and strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberry coulis on a buttermilk biscuit. Naturally, a visit is not complete without trying the house-made brews, with light to strong variations including a rice pilsner, West Coast IPA, oatmeal stout and hoppy amber ale, all of which are also sold in four-packs to go. A dozen wines by the glass and bottle are available, too.
