Tsukimi in the East Village offers a modern take on kaiseki via an 11-course dinner from executive chef-partner Takanori Akiyama. Dishes have included kaluga caviar, uni, egg, rice and potato; and Japanese tilefish with sesame and miso. General manager-partner Karen Lin designed the beverage menu. The restaurant is from the team behind SakaMai. Reservations are required.
