Tulalip Bay Restaurant Restaurant Review: Tucked inside the Tulalip Casino is this redwood-paneled restaurant, perhaps one of Snohomish County’s best-kept secrets. It’s decorated with blown-glass light fixtures by David Chihuly---the wine room boasts an original Chihuly chandelier---along with historical black-and-white tribal photos crowning plush half-booths. Shattering any preconceptions of casino “all-you-can-eat” dining, the Pan-Asian menu combines Northwest ingredients with tropical flavors, thanks to Hawaii-born executive chef Dean Shinagawa. Starters include lobster tempura and Korean beef soft tacos. For dinner, choose apple wood grilled flank steak or taste the sea with a ginger-steamed Chilean sea bass. Surf ‘n’ turf options include pesto prawns and Wagyu top sirloin or a filet paired with lobster tail. A fresh strawberry genoise and warm pineapple-pear crisp are among desserts. |
