 THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tupelo Grill Restaurant Review: Finally, a quality dining establishment near Madison Square Garden---and one with a dramatic design. The menu holds no surprises: chilled shellfish, oversized salads, grilled meats, crème brûlée. The décor, however, forgoes the usual mahogany and leather in favor of an airy space with light woods, hard-edged surfaces and soaring windows. Though the restaurant's prices are high for the neighborhood, they're no problem for the Armani-clad executives and Garden sky-box holders who swarm here. |
