This restaurant-nightclub offers an inventive menu of new American cuisine, plus live music and entertainment. The sleek and modern décor provides a novel backdrop for a date and the evolving roster of bands takes the pressure off switching venues just when you’re getting comfortable. Even standard American fare like the hamburger is reinvented; the result is the bourbon-pepper-crusted burger, grilled and then flambéed with Jack Daniels, and topped with American cheese and served on an English muffin, dramatic in its presentation and flavor. The herb-roasted game hen is a step above the standard roasted chicken, and the addition of berries adds a touch of sweet-sourness that wakes up the flavor of the bird. If during a night of dancing you feel the need to re-energize, but are not looking for a full-course meal, one of the Twenty combos, finger food comprised of a sampling from the appetizers with french fries, will keep your spirits up for after-hours.
