 An Old Town fixture since 1932, this neighborhood bar-restaurant has so many loyal customers you'd think they all owned a piece of the action. Among elders, Twin Anchors gets the Best Jukebox Selections in a Bar award (mostly early Sinatra). But all the fuss is really about the baby-back ribs, which are meaty and succulent. And the barbecue sauce? It's as spirited as the patrons who having been coming here for years. Burgers also are good, as are steaks, slow roasted chicken and giant grilled shrimp bathed in garlic butter. But don’t forget to order some onion rings and a few decent beers to go with.
