The Two Bells Bar & Grill, Seattle, WA

The Two Bells Bar & Grill Restaurant Review

: At this unpretentious Belltown tavern, the juicy burgers featuring freshly-ground beef are served on French baguettes with your choice of potato salad, potato chips, baked beans, coleslaw or a well-prepared soup of the day. That's right --- no fries, but we guarantee you won't miss them. We suggest the Tavern Burger topped with bacon and grilled onions or a variation smothered with blue cheese. There’s also a tasty chicken burger, a salmon burger and a classic Caesar salad, plus a respectable version of lasagna. In the dessert category, homemade pies include maple blueberry, Key lime and a chocolate cream. A fair selection of microbrews, a small but surprisingly well chosen list of wines, plus a full bar are available. Service is friendly and welcoming, although not especially fast. The 21-and-over tavern doesn't offer much in the way of notable décor, but that's part of its funky charm.
