| Welcomed by a young man wearing a felt cheeseburger hat, patrons are directed to the order line, where choices include an Angus burger, veggie burger, bratwurst, or chicken breast cooked your way and dressed from among six different styles---Blazin’ Saddle; So-Cal, USA; Bleu Bayou to name a few---and then for some extra change, topped with extra cheese, beans, bacon or chili. But burgers are not the only attraction: salads get top marks also. We recommend the Austin Club filled with barbecue chicken, avocado and loads of extras. Don’t skip past the starters like bacon-cheese fries. Even the desserts are a bit wacky; try Jessica’s Fried Twinkie Sundae. What adds extra appeal is the décor, themed around the U.S. Navy, and it is heart-warmingly patriotic. |
