The Urban Frog Restaurant Review: The Urban Frog offers an innovative and creative menu, which includes the sweet potato wrap --- thinly sliced, raw sweet potato, fennel, sunflower sprouts, avocado and honey mustard with a swath of poppy seed mayonnaise on a multi-grain tortilla. Or go for the pumpkin wrap, with its pumpkin hummus, Granny Smith apple, raw almonds, dried cranberries and feta cheese. Gluten-free pizzas are topped with basil pesto, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, avocados and feta. The Frog’s walnut burger, consisting of a walnut and pecan patty, is slathered with vegan mayonnaise and topped with lettuce and tomato and served on a gluten-free, multi-grain bun. Even kids can eat healthy with all-natural peanut butter sandwiches and a quesadilla with locally made cheeses on a whole-wheat tortilla accompanied with organic vegetables and blue corn tortilla chips. Check out the Saturday farmers market where you can stock up on vegetables, fruits, cheeses, farm fresh eggs, salsas, granola, bison meat and other goodies. |
