A hip downtown pizzeria, Urbano offers a little something for everybody, not the least of which are the relatively thin-crusted pizzas emerging from a pair of wood-burning ovens. Varieties range from traditional margherita to a pie layered with fingerling potatoes, Brussels sprouts, roasted garlic, house-smoked bacon and Parmesan cream, which can be finished with an optional egg. Starters include meatballs with goat cheese bathed in marinara, a plate of salumi and a Caesar salad. For dessert, there’s a house-made tiramisu and cannoli, and the pizzas can be washed down with craft beers or wines from a short, international list. The modern space, clad in reclaimed wood, features a long communal table and an open kitchen.
