Vago Restaurant Review: This Italian gem, rustic and comfortable, is tucked into the midst of what is popularly known as Westmount. Set on trendy Avenue Greene, the restaurant displays an interesting and authentic culinary flair. The menu ranges from paper-thin slices of prosciutto and creative antipasti to such main courses as grilled blue marlin, pan-seared sirloin steak or grilled Caribbean red snapper. Among the favored pasta dishes is linguine pescatore that includes a veritable aquarium of seafood in a light sauce. End the meal with the memorable tiramisu. The wine list is extensive and very Italian, but limited on its selection of whites. |
