Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse Restaurant Review: When you are looking to impress a guest, Vic & Anthony's will cover just about every aspect of that goal. The ambience is grand, with a lobby piano lounge, gorgeous upstairs ballroom and posh décor. Although the dining room is large, tables are closely packed, so be prepared. The menu offers the expected upscale red meat options, from tender filet mignon to Prime rib-eye, plus a veal chop and, of course, some chicken and seafood---including pricey lobster tail. To start, we like the crab cakes or the chilled wedge with creamy homemade Roquefort dressing; or we'll get that salad on the side along with our beef. A la carte sides are hard to resist, including au gratin potatoes, onion strings and skinny green beans. There is a notable fine wine list, and expect to pay for quality. Forgot to reserve? Grab a seat at the counter and watch the kitchen perform. Dessert specials are worth the inquiry, if you have any room left.
