About the restaurant: A small Fairfax restaurant in a mega shopping area, this inviting place turns out standard Vietnamese fare. Take-out is available, but it’s more pleasant to dine with friends in this welcoming and busy setting Service is fast and courteous.

Likes: Grilled pork.
Dislikes: Crowded at lunchtime.

Food & Drinks: The key menu player is the standard Vietnamese soup, pho, which comes with a wide choice of toppings that include steak in many different guises, meatballs, chicken, tripe or sliced tofu. Every meal should start with one of the spring rolls, and if hot soup is not your preference, consider the various rice dishes: grilled lemon chicken, shredded pork or barbecued pork. The special noodle bowl crowned with grilled pork and a spring roll is a complete meal in itself. Blended mango, jackfruit, strawberry and custard apple beverages are offered alongside teas and soft drinks. Among the limited dessert options is Jello with coconut milk.
