| The View definitely has what it's named for---its revolving rooftop dining room provides a panorama to delight all diners. The food is nothing to scoff at either. Starters include seared foie gras with mixed berry gelée and toasted brioche; a goat cheese ravioli with duck confit, asparagus and sorrel cream; and seared squab with braised cipollini, caramelized fig and sherry vinaigrette. For main courses, The View offers Berkshire pork tenderloin with creamy polenta, roasted baby vegetables and pork jus as well as some of the usual suspects: filet mignon, lobster, duck breast and numerous fish options. Many of the wines come from East Coast vineyards. |
