Vincent’s is part of the Mandola-Carrabba restaurant family and sandwiched next to Damian’s restaurant and Grappino, their Italian bar. Vincent’s is noisier and more casual than nearby Damian’s, so expect to be seated in an expansive sunroom that is illuminated with terracotta walls and lots of windows. A wood-fired rotisserie churns out the house specialty, spit-roasted chicken, basted with lemon and garlic and served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Try the costoletta, a marinated grilled veal chop, or the snapper Nino, sautéed in olive oil and topped with lump crab meat and mushrooms in a lemon-butter-wine sauce. Pasta is a real crowd-pleaser here; we like the mezzaluna, fresh half moons stuffed with chicken, ricotta and Parmigiano and served with a tomato cream sauce. For dessert, those in the know pass up the dessert tray for the banana split pie.
