This Vincent's location is decidedly more modern---verging on romantic---than the two located on the other side of Lake Pontchartrain. The food, however, is the same: Creole-Italian cooking, heavy on the red sauce and saturated with garlic. The house specialties include chowder-like corn and crab bisque, house-made cannelloni and custardy fried eggplant sticks. The suburban clientele here ranges from multi-kid families celebrating a junior high soccer win, to romantic dinners between couples who opted to hire a sitter. Free vodka martinis keep lunch crowds contented.
