Vines Grille & Wine Bar Restaurant Review: Live jazz may be the headliner, but food and wine don’t take a back seat at this venue on busy Restaurant Row. The contemporary restaurant offers more than 500 selections on the wine list (mostly California labels) and more than 40 by the glass. Sip your favorites with small plates such as grilled octopus, oysters on the half shell, and Prime steak tartare, or settle in for dinner with a menu with specialties, such as pan-seared Chilean sea bass, wild mushroom pappardelle and short rib osso buco. Locally grown organic and heirloom produce makes it even better. For dessert, sip a post-prandial drink from the bar and fill up on live music. |
