VinoTapa Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: This simple yet convivial, brick-lined Murray Hill neighborhood spot features long tables, perfect for gatherings of friends, and outdoor seating in warmer months.

Food & Drinks: Tapas restaurants can be more expensive than you’d expect, but here tapas tasting platters for groups of four or more cost a mere $24 per person, with a selection of authentic Spanish favorites like shrimp al ajillo, patatas bravas and grilled octopus, as well as creations such as the B.L.T.T., the bacon-lettuce-tomato tosta, and a number of Spanish-inspired flatbreads. A separate menu of cheese and meats lets you create your own platter of three or five items with aged Serrano ham and cheeses from Murcia headlining, all from Spain. Add a pitcher of fruit-infused white or red sangría to complete your trip to Madrid via New York City. Service is friendly and helpful and will adapt orders to fit dietary needs. An ideal place for a date or parties who like to share, VinoTapa is a true find.
