Voda, which apparently means water in 22 languages, is a vital part of the exploding Santa Monica nightlife scene. But Champagne and vodka, not water, are the draw here, served with caviar. The décor is subdued, almost mystical, with stonewalls, brown carpets and candles everywhere. Though many pop in for drinks and snacks, the menu offers everything from designer pizzas, fresh oysters and ahi tuna tartare to a hearty New York steak in a mushroom reduction served with french fries.
