Forget the seatbelt---you're in for a smooth ride at Voyage. This swank lounge and restaurant, in the space that long housed Caribe, brings something new to the table. Chef Scott Barton, who previously cooked Asian-inflected spalike cuisine at Pulse, takes culinary cues from such places as the Caribbean, the American south, India and France. Soul food staple chicken and dumplings are reinterpreted as tender chicken breast in a faintly sweet garlic broth, upscale truffled scallops are paired with creamy old-fashioned grits and red-eye gravy. The grown-up dining room with cushioned walls has excellent acoustics---perfect for romantic tête-à-tête.
