Wabi-Sabi Restaurant Review

: While you crave pan-seared duck breast over forbidden rice with glazed baby carrots and natural duck jus, your dining companion has a taste for sushi. No problem. Well-priced, creative dishes are served by friendly staff at this neighborhood multi-room joint. You can inhabit the sushi bar, an outdoor Zen yard or a homey dining room. A vast selection of sushi is complemented by a medley of soups and salads. Small plates like wild mushroom wontons and crispy Dungeness crab cakes with grain mustard complement large plates such as Alaskan halibut with beluga lentils, and chicken breast in a red curry broth. The warm pear and quince tart completes the meal suitably. A small wine and saké list adds to the enjoyment.
