Now back in the competent hands of its originator, Weber’s on Boston should take a turn for the better. The new menu is simple but compelling for any-day dining, lining up crowd-pleasers like burgers, crab cakes, chicken pot pie, and a beef stir-fry with the likes of jambalaya, Carolina pork barbecue and crawfish pie. The kitchen knows how to turn out these standards with just enough flair to keep friends and neighbors coming back for more. The place is as pleasant as ever, a neighborhood gathering spot with a well populated brass-rail bar separated from an upscale casual dining.
