Wedgwood Broiler Restaurant Review: Opened in 1965, the Wedgwood Broiler is a neighborhood favorite. Caught in a tasty time warp, from the smoked glass mirrored walls to the muzak rendition of Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You," the place is a Seattle classic. Don’t come looking for trendy cuisine; this is a family fare kind of place. The only hint of multicultural influences in the kitchen is the teriyaki chicken and barbecue Swiss cheese burger. In fact, we like all of the burgers---cooked as requested, the beef is ground right on the premises, which makes all the difference. The Wedgwood Broiler also offers dinner specials, drawing in the regulars. For something sweet, try the mud pie or a hand-dipped milkshake.
