36-year old Randy Gerber, Cindy Crawford's hubby, is the man behind the swank Whiskey Rocks, a late night music bar destination at the St. Regis Hotel scheduled to open during the '99-'00 ski season.. Gerber's chic Skybar in Los Angeles is a Hollywood hot spot. His brother Kenny departed his post at the Skybar to manage this new Aspen spot, the most recent in a long list of successful Gerber nightclubs which include Morgan's Bar, Whiskey Blue and Whiskey Park in Manhattan and the Whiskey Bar and Grill in Chicago. The intimate room is Colorado comfortable with overstuffed leather chairs and wool throws in muted mountain colors and natural fabrics. The sounds are piped in blues and mellow rock. And when every place is closed and you're hungry you can get late night finger food and pizzas till 1:45 in the morning.
