THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The White Chocolate Grill Restaurant Review:
White chocolate desserts might be why chocoholics are tempted to try this cheerful restaurant, but it’s the whole menu---and the friendly ambience---that keeps them coming back. Rich cherry wood is featured throughout the two dining rooms, the first one also housing the exhibition kitchen with hunter green tile, a rotisserie oven, leather booth seating, soft lighting and a comfortable atmosphere. The lively adjoining room features a ten-seat bar backed by TV screens and a colorful display of wine and liquor bottles facing stadium-style seating. The creamy tomato-gin soup with mushrooms and bacon is a specialty. We also like the rare sesame-crusted ahi with sesame-citrus-soy dressing; the grilled chicken salad with field greens, goat cheese, toasted almonds, golden raisins, red onion, tomato, croutons, balsamic vinaigrette and yogurt sauce; the Israeli couscous with pistachios, tomatoes and golden raisins; and the burger with Maytag blue cheese and bacon. Oven-roasted cedar plank salmon with a honey-soy glaze, grilled and smoked barbecued baby-back ribs and Parmesan-crusted filet mignon are among entrée winners. Desserts include white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, a white chocolate brownie, white chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream, white chocolate banana cream pie and baked to-order apple pie.
