White Dog Cafe Restaurant Review

: White Dog Café, situated in three adjacent Victorian brownstones next to the University of Pennsylvania, has benefited from owner Marty Grims' solid restaurant management pedigree. Grims is also behind Moshulu restaurant on the waterfront, and has a second White Dog in the Main Line. Focusing on seasonal, locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients, there's lots to “woof” about on the menu. From the Kennett Square mushroom soup and local organic cheese plate, to the New Jersey yellowfin tuna and beef tenderloin in a port wine reduction, the dishes offer comfort and fine presentation. For dessert, try the warm blueberry tart with toasted almond cream, lemon Chantilly and crème anglaise.
