| This American eatery situated in three adjacent Victorian brownstones next to the University of Pennsylvania has benefited from owner Marty Grims' solid restaurant management pedigree. Grims is also behind Moshulu restaurant on the waterfront, and has a second White Dog in the Main Line. Focusing on seasonal, locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients, there's lots to woof about on this menu. From the fresh fig and pear salad and hand-cut steak tartare to the grilled Pocono brown trout and free-range Amish chicken, the menu offers comfort and fine presentation. Try the warm cinnamon donuts with bourbon cream for dessert. |
