White Flamingo Restaurant Restaurant Review: This charming, romantic spot boasts tables dressed with crystal and white tablecloths. A different soup is prepared daily and the owner grows herbs to be picked fresh for each dish. We recommend the Flamingo ginger Mandarin salad with shrimp, or try the tilapia meunière. There are also plenty of beef dishes to choose from like the 16-ounce porterhouse or filet and shrimp on a bed of rice pilaf. The house specialty is the pecan cobbler, which makes a good conclusion to any meal. A piano player entertains beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. |
