Wildfish Restaurant Review

: Dark and lounge-like, this sushi bar in the former Banana Moon space is a happening place to indulge in both traditional and innovative Japanese cuisine. Everything is very fresh, but we find the entrées rather dull. Stick with what’s raw --- namely the specialty maki, which includes the Ocean Drive, chopped yellowtail, tuna, cilantro and green pepper wrapped with soybean paper and splashed with chili oil and lime. Also good is the Triple Threat featuring spicy tuna and jalapeño topped with spicy salmon, potato crisps and red tobiko drizzled with honey wasabi. The Dirty Old Man --- mozzarella over cream cheese with tempura crunch, salmon tempura and spicy mayo --- is strangely inauthentic but tasty, too. Cool cocktails are a draw, and you also can sample saké flights.
