Chef Michael Wilson (son of The Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson and formerly of Venice's 5 Dudley) is the man behind this neighborhood restaurant in bustling Culver City. The place is very casual, with a prominent "food bar," orange-hued tables paired with colorfully striped chairs and cylindrical lighting fixtures hanging from a high ceiling. A secluded rear patio and huge vintage photograph of a chef leading his culinary staff in morning calisthenics are the most striking design elements. What had been a globally-inspired menu now offers taqueria-style fare. Dishes range from tacos and sopes and aperitivos like the sopa del dia, to chili-rubbed tuna, a cheese enchilada and chicken, steak or shrimp fajitas. Premium tequilas are offered along with concept margaritas.
