 Wokcano Restaurant Review: Wokcano has evolved from a single Los Angeles location to a six-restaurant Southern California chain serving pan-Asian cuisine and sushi. Start with the tuna truffle pizza or Malaysian-style clams with basil and a black bean ginger sauce. Highlights from larger plates include the black pepper beef mignon and the honey walnut shrimp. The volcano roll is a flavorful combination of shrimp tempura on the inside, with eel and sweet and spicy sauce on top, while pad thai or a variety of fried rice preparations offer carbs. Desserts include a three-layer chocolate cheesecake. Consider a selection from the long list of specialty martinis instead of wine and beer. |
