WonJo Restaurant is one of GAYOT's 2013
| Top 10 NY Korean Barbecue Restaurants

WonJo Restaurant Review: Not necessarily the place in Koreatown for that special occasion meal, this no-frills eatery is a go-to spot for eaters who like straight up Korean fare. For example, unlike some of the hipper places downtown, you don't have to order (and get charged for) the kimchi. Try some of the Seoul-satisfying soups, seafood casseroles, noodle dishes and, of course, barbecue. The sushi options include the usual tuna, salmon and eel suspects, as well as red clam, sea urchin and octopus (and many other choices). |
