Woodfour Brewing Company Restaurant Review:

Upon entering Woodfour, it's clear this is not a typical brewpub. The room features simple décor with clean lines, warm wood and ample natural light. A bar lines the back wall, and fermentation tanks visible through a window let visitors know beer is brewed here. If healthy comfort food exists, Woodfour has it nailed. Menu items complement its in-house and guest-crafted artisan brews. Starters include kicky deviled eggs with smoked paprika and horseradish chives, a pickled seasonal veggie plate served on a striking wood board or bright beet salad with pumpernickel walnuts. Among the mains are rich porcine heirloom bean cassoulet drizzled with black truffle oil; grilled bratwurst with house-made sauerkraut and pickled mustard; or American Wagyu flat-iron steak with roasted potatoes, rapini and crispy onions. On a sunny day the patio see-and-be scene is the place to sip and nosh. Bring your pup, join the outdoor camaraderie with a glass of Farmhouse ale, cider or local wine and mix and match a cheese and charcuterie plate. Save room for the flourless chocolate cake topped with (what else?) beer whipped cream.
