THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Woodward Table Restaurant Review:

Woodward Table, part of Jeff and Sallie Buben’s small but growing restaurant group, occupies a sizeable corner location downtown and houses a built-in wood-burning oven. American-style comfort food at affordable prices populates the menu, the best part of which is the “fast-food” section that shows off freshly baked breads and pastries plus handsome sandwiches, all ready for take-away eating. Those settling in for brunch, lunch or dinner should try a flatbread just out of the oven; toppings may change to suit the season. At lunch, selections veer towards lighter fare, including crab cake sandwiches, hamburgers and salads, but you can also dig into an order of pasta, seafood or a steak as well. Dinner amplifies the possibilities, with the addition of more seafood and meat entrées. Don’t skip desserts, made on the premises, such as the chocolate-bourbon bread pudding and the strawberry tres leche cake. If you drop by for cocktails, check out the bar food, too.
