Wyandot Barbeque Restaurant Review:
Most Kansas Citians have a favorite ’cue restaurant, frequently a small hole-in-the wall spot that’s been around for years. Wyandot Barbeque, launched in Wyandotte County, could be that place --- it has served debatably some of the best barbecue in Kansas City since 1977. Décor is sparse, with plain dinette tables, a self-serve soda fountain and lots of paper towels. The focus is on the food --- and lots of it for a very affordable price. Try the mixed plate; it's piled high with ribs, brisket, ham and french fries --- easily enough for three meals at under $10. The sauce is warm and spicy, and the meat is fall-apart tender.
