Done up in warm, inviting colors and with comfy furniture from which to pose, Xando attracts a young, vivacious evening crowd eager to sip Cosmos and quaff Merlot. Expect counter service by day when macchiatos, Chai tea lattes and smoothies are in order; table service at night when the pierced navels set in. If you're hungry for more than caffeine and alcohol, there are grilled sandwiches (chicken with smoked mozzarella, prosciutto and goat cheese), wraps, salads, quesadillas and thick, dense sweets like mud cake, cheesecake, turtle cake and carrot cake.
