Beyond the quality of its raw fish and well-made sushi, Yahiro's chief asset is its neighborly atmosphere. All the usual nigiri and maki are represented as well as a few other traditional hot dishes like sukiyaki and teriyaki. Yahiro can be tricky to find as it is tucked away in a tiny building partially hidden from the street.
