Yours Truly Restaurant Review: This cozy and sunny eatery has been an East side power-breakfast, corporate quick-lunch and family dinner spot since 1988 (though the chain's original location has been around longer than that). Service is first-name-basis friendly, the menu (which features several low-fat/low-cholesterol choices) covers all the bases, and the food---simply prepared and served up in heaping portions---defines comfort. For breakfast, try any of the omelets; our favorite is the version with Gorgonzola, Canadian bacon, spinach and tomato. For lunch, don’t miss the chicken wrap served with tango sauce or the Notso fries smothered in melted cheese, bacon bits and a dollop of sour cream. The burgers come with just about any topping imaginable; try the Reuben, a burger on grilled rye bread with Swiss and sauerkraut. Veggie burgers are available for non-carnivores. |
