Yvonne's Restaurant Review:

Yvonne's, a modern take on the supper club concept, took over the famed Locke-Ober space near Downtown Crossing. The hip restaurant is from Lolita Cocina co-owner Chris Jamison and business partner Mark Malatesta. This is a popular after-work spot for a cocktail (Eulogy, War Paint, or the tart Anklebreaker made with rum, lemon, cherry and lime) with a large group looking to share small plates (think chicken and quinoa meatballs). Buttermilk hush puppies are an addicting combination of pimento cheese and sweet candied bacon, but we can’t get enough of the provoleta, a skillet of baked cheese topped with a dollop of chimichurri that is spread over grilled bread. There is an interesting selection of stone-fired pitas, like the Turkish beef sausage with marrow butter, mozzarella and basil; and the Korean fried chicken with kimchi and Gruyère. If you’re really hungry, order one of four feasts for two, such as the long bone rib-eye served with two pounds of golden steak fries and a side of marinated mushrooms; it comes with a hefty price tag at $110. The macaron ice cream sandwich makes a nice small treat. Be prepared to pay a 3 percent "kitchen appreciation fee" in addition to your gratuity.
