THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Z Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Chef Noah Cooper applies fanciful Asian-inspired tactics to classic Continental dishes, creating a style that is uniquely, unmistakably California. Where else but here, in the fusion dining capital, would you find such dishes as Maine lobster salad with spring onion corn pancakes, porterhouse steak in Szechwan peppercorn sauce, or wasabi-crusted halibut? Its all very nouveau, very eclectic and very tasty. People with simple tastes may go a little cross-eyed looking at the menu, but most folks should have fun navigating it. More than 300 bottles of wine are in the cellar; the focus is on French and Californian varietals.
