Zephyr Cafe Restaurant Review:
A delightful departure from the usual Starbucks experience, this homey coffee shop is located in a beautifully restored Craftsman cottage that has evaded the bulldozers on an unfashionable part of Colorado Boulevard, far from Old Pasadena. Rotating exhibits of art grace the walls inside, where chairs and sofas keep folks lingering over lattes, while a secluded patio (that also serves as a hookah bar) has its own charm. In addition to the usual coffees and teas, a menu of panini and omelets is offered, and we particularly enjoy the savory crêpes, served with a small salad.
