| Love cows? They’re all around you, spotlighted on a giant, bucolic mural. The crowds pack into this bustling eatery that spans a sizeable dining room and patio, tied together by an indoor-outdoor bar. Indeed, owner Sam Fox (of the Sam Fox empire) knows how to build a restaurant to woo the masses. In this case, it’s all about burgers, served by an easygoing, cheerful and speedy staff. The Zinburger, fat and juicy on a house-made bun draped with melting manchego cheese and Zinfandel-braised onions, is a worthy signature. Then there's the vanity Samburger piled with apple wood-smoked bacon, American cheese and Thousand Island dressing. For sides, think bar snacks like Parmesan-crusted zucchini sticks dunked in ranch dressing or truffled potato fries; finish with a lip-smacking root beer float. Or, go for a real beer, like the black lager float made with Session black lager and vanilla ice cream---it promises to be a mooooving experience. |
