THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Zoot Restaurant Review:
Zoot offers loads of charm, including a small but exciting seasonal menu and a thoughtful, food-friendly wine list. For quiet dinners, we enjoy the peaceful ambience in this Deep Eddy neighborhood bungalow with fresh flowers accenting the window-filled dining room. One never knows what might appear on the menu, which changes frequently with dishes that range from New American to Southwestern to Mediterranean. Sophisticated starters include the wood-grilled quail with jalapeño-sunflower seed salad and fried oysters, or the seared foie gras with pear soup. We are impressed with an elegant entrée of roasted Hawaiian blue snapper with braised radicchio and almond cream. When available, we like to tuck into the warm apple tart with spiced rum sabayon for dessert.
