THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Zuppa Restaurant Review:
Industrial-chic Zuppa draws an attractive, youngish crowd whose chatter sails up into the vaulted ceiling. The spirit is convivial at the long communal table, and industry folks sidle up to the back bar for a cocktail or dine at the kitchen-side counter. The restaurant's pride and joy is a cherry-red meat slicer --- we suggest ordering an array of imported meats (the mortadella is a must-have) that arrive thinly sliced on a cutting board. Pastas are hearty, including a rich, slow cooked pork ragù. Thin-crust pizzas come with a sweet tomato sauce, and lemon-and-olive-oil-cured tuna is charmingly served in a petite mason jar.
