THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Zydeco Restaurant Review:

It wasn’t just Zydeco’s bright orange and yellow walls that woke up Charlotte diners. It was the chef’s innovative drawl when it comes to Cajun-Creole cuisine. Sure, you’ll find gumbo and crawfish etouffée on the menu, but you’ll also find alligator and Tasso ham spring rolls. We think this place is at least as good as---if not better than---the old-time Cajun Queen is. Other non-Cajun gems from Zydeco’s talented owners: Marais, a neighboring French bistro---1400 E.
