Chivas Regal 25-Year-Old Original Scotch Whisky - Review
Tres Regal
by

It’s
been nearly 100 years since the firm founded in
Aberdeen by the Scottish brothers, James and John
Chivas, brought to market an exclusive product.
Master Blender Colin Scott, pictured at right, was
given the challenge to put something together that
qualified as a luxury product … and at $300
a bottle, you’d
certainly want that.
We are happy to report the Chivas Regal 25-Year-Old
Original is not only a luxe product, but it is elegant,
smooth and balanced. “I crawled the cellar
to craft what is the most expensive blended whisky
on the market,” Scott said.
Christian
Porta, CEO of Chivas Brothers, said the company
was very pleased with the fruit of their labor. “We
are proud to release such an incomparable blend,
a result of our tradition of collecting a priceless
stock of exceptional aged whiskies.”
The
Taste of Luxury
Nose: Enticing
fruit aromas of sweet orange and peach, followed
by notes of marzipan and nuts
Palate: Hints
of rich milk chocolate, orange and a fondant
creaminess
