But adding a few ice cubes brings out a complex flavor, including bread and a hint of grapefruit. Only a select Polish baker's grade rye is used as the base. After four distillations, the 80-proof vodka is left unfiltered to retain the flavor of the grain, which leaves an aftertaste of cream.
