Top 10 Spirits 2011
Of all the distinctive gin styles in the world, London dry gins are the most common, but Oxley stands out from the crowd. Perhaps this is due to the unique cold distillation only Oxley undergoes. By "boiling" the spirit in a low pressure environment at sub-zero temperatures, this premium dry gin retains more of its flavor than conventional methods allow. Add to that a combination of fourteen botanicals that gives the gin plenty of spice on the nose and a smooth finish and you've got a spirit versatile enough to be enjoyed neat or mixed into a martini cocktail. However, we prefer our Oxley gin on the rocks, topped off with tonic water and garnished with lime. Cheers to life’s simple pleasures!
