Whole Leaf Organics Lychee White Tea - Review

Choice Organic Teas has added a new handpicked tea to their line of earth-friendly, Fair Trade, certified organic teas. Hailing from the foothills of South India, Whole Leaf Organics Lychee White Tea is a composition of melodious, subtle floral and fruit flavors. As the tea pyramid — the tea bags are shaped like mini pyramids — allows the delicate white tea leaves to unfold, there is a pronounced scent of soothing osmanthus flowers.

Once the tea has cooled enough to drink, the flavor is surprisingly mild with only a hint of lychee, though adding a bit of honey or sugar would certainly highlight the slight sweetness.

Take note not to steep the tea too long, because the delicate flavors can soon become bitter.
